Horse riders are using a local path and churning it up so that it is difficult for walkers to use. What can be done?
Horse riders are entitled to use paths, provided they act responsibly. Where there is a conflict between different kinds of users of a path, contact your local Access Office to see if there may be a way of managing access to avoid conflict, e.g. encouraging horse riders to use an alternative route.
