How am I supposed to know which electricity supply I am using? Is there some way to switch between solar panel electricity and power from my normal supplier?
If your solar panels are producing electricity when you are using an appliance, this will be consumed first. If more electricity is needed, or it is night time, electricity will come from your supplier. If your system is producing more electricity than is needed in your household, it will be exported to the grid, and you will be paid for it.
