How and from what is hand-made paper crafted?
Papermaking is a complex, ancient art using natural fibers such as cotton, abaca, flax, kozo, mitsumata, and gampi. These fibers are beat into pulp, formed over molds, and dried into sheets. To learn more about making paper by hand, visit us for the PAPERMAKING SOCIETY at 6:00pm the first and third Thursday of each month.
