How are any bugs and fixes handled?
Among many thousands of VEDIT users, fewer than a dozen reported a crash or serious problem in the past year. Our #1 priority is making VEDIT the most stable product available, not rushing new features. The VEDITLOG.TXT file lists all fixes and changes made. When a problem is reported, we immediately try to replicate it, with a developer calling the user for step-by-step directions, if necessary. Serious problems that can cause a crash or corrupted files are typically fixed within two days. The new release is posted within a week. If you encounter a serious problem that causes a crash or corrupted file, we will fix it at no charge, according to these guidelines: • Your last purchased VEDIT version was less than 12 months old (We cannot support older versions forever.). • We can replicate the problem.
