How are courses credited toward PDUs for purposes on continuing PMI/PMP certification?
Skillsoft is a Registered Education Provider (REP #1008) of the Project Management Institute (PMI). Project Management Training Online is a direct Skillsoft Business Partner and Reseller, so you can easily obtain a certificate directly from your personalized learning portal upon completion of any course. You can then submit these PDUs under Category 3 as PDUs earned from REP training. Alternatively, you may be record completed courses as a Category 4 Professional Development Unit (PDU) qualifying activity. According to PMI Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR), “To calculate the number of PDUs earned, use the following formula: one (1) contact hour of learning relevant to project management within a structured activity or course equals one (1) PDU.” Contact hours for each course are listed in the description, or in most cases in the title.
