How are duraflame stax logs different from duraflame firelogs?
Unlike firelogs, you start a stax fire with 2 logs, because theyre specially formulated to be stacked for a more wood- like fire experience. A third log can be added after about 2 hours to prolong the fire experience. The logs have less energy /lb than traditional firelogs, and are formulated to remain solid while burning, allowing more than one log to be burned at the same time. The logs are also shaped like split wood and burn with the charred and ashed appearance of real wood. In addition to fireplaces, stax logs can be burned in a woodstove and outdoors in a fireplace or firebowl. And because more than one log can be burned at a time, stax logs put out more heat per fire (50% more BTU energy) than just one firelog. Both duraflame brand firelogs and stax firelogs are all natural, made from 100% renewable resources, and both burn much cleaner with less emissions than wood, for a cleaner, greener fire.
