Federally Required Adult Dental Services (FRADS) rendered at FQHCs or RHCs will remain reimbursable In addition, dental service that are precedent or necessary to undergo a covered medical service will remain reimbursable. The list of FRADS is located in the May 2009 Denti-Cal Bulletin. Psychology services are federally required core services for FQHCs or RHCs and remain reimbursable for all beneficiaries when rendered by a licensed psychologist or by a licensed clinical social worker and if the place of service is an FQHC or RHC. All other excluded optional benefits are reimbursable only if provided to exempt beneficiaries listed in FAQ #2 on this page.
