How are fine art prints of the mural produced?
A.Fine art reproductions of the mural are produced from a digital source image that is approximately 850MB in raster size. This very high resolution image is printed digitally with a six color process using pigmented archival inks onto artists grade acid-free canvas. The finished print is laminated with a thin vinyl material in a process that seals that vinyl to canvas tightly and preserves the canvas texture. The end result is an extremely sharp continuous tone image that has a high degree of color accuracy to the original subject illuminated with daylight balanced lighting.
