How are individuals compensated for participating in the direct assessment?

0

Field assessors are compensated with honoraria of $70 per direct assessment that they complete and administer themselves. They are compensated $30 per assessment that a student’s teacher completed, and the student’s teacher is compensated $40 per completed direct assessment. This applies to both direct assessments and alternate assessments. As a small “thank-you” to the student, the field assessor will have the student choose a small gift from a “grab bag” on the day of the assessment.
