The government is only throwing more and more money at these institutions giving them the green-light for spoilt and arrogant behaviour, instead of creating policies which can regulate them under closer scrutiny. In short, they are still laughing all the way to their front door.

You are not alone. People who also have a mortgage with Northern Rock must be feeling pretty much annoyed too. Bonuses to staff when mortgage repayments have shot up doesn’t seem right to me.
