For best results, freeze your favorite recipe before baking. Follow the instructions below. To freeze prepared pasta dishes: Lasagne: Assemble the lasagne in a baking pan as the recipe directs omitting mozzarella cheese from the top. Do not bake. Cover the pan with freezer wrap or heavy-duty foil, or place pan in a large heavy plastic bag and seal. Freeze for up to 2 months. To bake lasagne: Thaw lasagne overnight in the refrigerator. Remove wrapping. Cover with foil and bake as directed for the minimum bake time; uncover and continue baking until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and bake 10 minutes longer. Tip: To store the frozen lasagne without the baking pan: Before assembling the lasagne, prepare and cool the recipe components. Line the baking pan with foil or two layers of plastic wrap before filling. Assemble and freeze the lasagne.
