Source ratings (shown as yellow squares) are the standard average of all story ratings for a given news source. All stories on the NewsTrust site are rated for journalistic quality, on a scale of one to five stars. A one-star rating means very bad journalism and a five –star rating means very good journalism, according to our reviewers. A detailed explanation of our rating system is provided below.
