How are students able to travel for ten days each semester – won’t they miss too many days of class instruction?

Travel is conducted over the course of the semester by the separate cohorts. Each cohort determines (with guidance) its own specific itinerary and the timing for its particular trip. Since all academic classes are posted on the internet through our school software students on the road can not only keep up with all their classes, but actually turn in assignments as well. This is one reason we supply every student with his or her own laptop computer and select lodging with internet access. Because cohorts consist of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students no one class back home is decimated by missing students, rather is able to conduct business as usual even with the absence of the two or three students on their trip.
