How are students selected for the Pearson Prize?

There is a four-part selection process. First, applicants fill out the general profile information and submit essays. Then, a group of qualified reviewers reads every essay and makes determinations on who will be selected for the next round. Next, the selected group of applicants submits video essays. Finally, a selection committee comprised of Pearson employees reviews the last set of applicants and announces the Pearson Prize recipients for 2011.
