Geographical Position: The further away a place is from the Equator, the cooler the temperature and the less the concentration of sunlight will be. Closer to the equator, the sun’s ray strikes the surface at a direct angle whereas away from the equator, it strikes at an angle so that it is spread over a larger area instead of on one concentrated spot. The amount of radiation over an area determines the temperature experienced as caused by radiation and lends a hand in climate.
