We do not crop photos to fit the ordered print size. Instead, we print your image as large as possible on the given print size without cropping any of it away. This means that most images will have a white border on two sides, the size of which will vary depending on the “shape” or aspect ratio of the image. This is to make sure you get the exact photo that appeared in print. It also means that the photo will often not fit standard pre-cut mat sizes – as the shape of the image can have different dimensions than the print size. Please see the example on the print description page for more about this. If you have a question, please contact us.
