How are the Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning sections of the GRE revised General Test scored?
Computer-based Test: • Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning scores depend on the test-taker’s performance on the questions given and on the number of questions answered in the time allotted. • Both sections are section-level adaptive, meaning that the first section of the Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning measures span a range of difficulty levels, from easy to difficult. The first section is assembled such that, overall, the first section is of average difficulty.
