You, me, and everyone would like to know. Officially, biological MDC creatures are ones with “tough skin” or “hardened scales” and the like. However, as many others have pointed out, this is patently ridiculous. I’m quite sure that Rhino Buffalo are very tough creatures, but MDC? No. Palladium further muddied the water by its bizarrely arbitrary rule that things coming to Rifts Earth (which is a magic-rich environment) become MDC. This includes all sorts of demons and deebs, but curiously excludes most of the Palladium Fantasy RPG PC races, though it DOES include faeries. You can imagine the absurdity this induces. This is coupled with the fact that humans who have lived on Rifts Earth for 300 years since the Cataclysm are not MDC despite the fact they live their whole lives in an MDC environment.
