How can a new SVETN teacher learn how to use the equipment?
Over the past 6 years SVETN has conducted summer workshops to familiarize teachers with the equipment they will find in an SVETN classroom. If a teacher finds him/herself faced with teaching an interactive television class without the benefit of the summer workshop, he or she should contact Debra Colley for support. She will gladly come to your school and provide training, as well as answer questions by phone or email. In addition, most schools now have at least one person on staff that has some experience with the equipment in the event an SVETN representative is not immediately available.
