How can a single person really make an impact in cleaning up the environment?
As an old saying “One tree can’t create a hill, three trees together can build a mountain”, each one of us can start our part to saving the earth right now, right at this moment, without having to spend a large amount of money. Even though we start with a small thing like unplugging un-used appliances, our effort together will create a huge impact on the environment with our large number of participants. • Example: An entertainment system that was turned off completely for 48 hours used 0.8 kilo watts. That is equivalent to turning on a 100-watt bulb for 8 hours when not needed.
