How can a vampire impregnate a human- twilight question?
Honestly this is just another stretch of the imagination that Meyers took with the vampire myth in the Twilight books. Since she doesn’t follow any of the other "rules" of vampire lifestyles, you really shouldn’t try to understand how this happened. I think it just made for a good plot twist.
1) Edward is dead. Her werewolves change whenever they feel like it (though it’s mentioned that they’re not actually werewolves but shapeshifters) her vampires don’t have any apparent fangs, or at least they’re not specifically mentioned, just shiny white teeth. Her vampire’s sparkle, for Pete’s sake. Her vampire wants to date his food, in stalkerish sort of way. And half of them have crazy supernatural powers above and beyond their crazy supernatural existences. It’s generally not possible to apply logic to the Twilight world.
