How can a vampire impregnate a human- twilight question?

Honestly this is just another stretch of the imagination that Meyers took with the vampire myth in the Twilight books. Since she doesn’t follow any of the other "rules" of vampire lifestyles, you really shouldn’t try to understand how this happened. I think it just made for a good plot twist.

In all other vampire fictions, a vampire’s sex partner will usually not live to see if they are pregnant or not. The only story I know of half-vampires being born is from "Blade" – Blade is half vampire because his mother was bitten just hours before he was born.
Otherwise, on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" it’s explained that you can’t become pregnant from vampire males since they are dead so all their body fluids are too. Going with tradition, it’s impossible for vampires to procreate; hence, there are no little vampire children.

Okay well a girl vampire’s body can’t change to carry a child though a humans body can because it is still living and functioning so that seems like an easy question to answer.

1) Edward is dead. If you want to talk logistics based on technicalities, you should start by asking how a venom makes a dead guy who still thinks and moves of his own accord when venom generally just kills people. 2) It’s important to note that Meyer pretty much doesn’t listen to any of the rules when she writes her books: Her vampires don’t burn in the sun, Garlic and religious paraphanelia don’t repel them. Her werewolves change whenever they feel like it (though it’s mentioned that they’re not actually werewolves but shapeshifters) her vampires don’t have any apparent fangs, or at least they’re not specifically mentioned, just shiny white teeth. Her vampire’s sparkle, for Pete’s sake. Her vampire wants to date his food, in stalkerish sort of way. And half of them have crazy supernatural powers above and beyond their crazy supernatural existences. It’s generally not possible to apply logic to the Twilight world. So why would the conceiving of children be any different? The simplest
