How can an animal welfare organization justify developing a campaign that promotes blood sports?
Exotic Fights is a fictitious event, so we’re really not promoting blood sports. What we’re promoting is that fact that WSPA is working to put an end to blood sports, the use of animals for entertainment and cruelty to animals. The campaign was designed to spark a reaction and a conversation, to educate people on the realities of blood sports, and to move them to act. Sometimes you have to cause a stir in order to have a positive impact.
