How can eligible students enroll in the UNC System-Wide Student Health Insurance Hard Waiver Plan?

0

Students eligible for the Hard Waiver plan are charged the premium on their semester bill and if they do not waive out they will be insured under the UNC System-Wide Student Health Insurance Hard Waiver Plan. If you are eligible for the Hard Waiver plan, you should complete the Hard Waiver Enrollment form online at www.studentinsurance.com on the school’s page. You will then be eligible for the insurance services before the school exports the final list of insured students. If you do not complete the Hard Waiver Enrollment you are still insured, but will not receive your insurance card, nor show active with the insurance company until the final list is exported from your school to Pearce & Pearce, Inc. If you are enrolling in the Voluntary Plan you should complete the Voluntary Enrollment at www.studentinsurance.com on your school’s page during the Open Enrollment period.
