The anti-SUV campaigns have divided and conquered two groups that both want the same thing: the enviros and the SUVers. People don’t drive SUVs because they’re bad humans. They do it because there are no other comparably priced vehicles with better gas mileage that offer equivalent perceived safety, convenience, performance, and comfort.
