How can EPP be used in the corporate environment?
Just working harder doesn’t work in the corporate environment either. Organizations are the metaphor of the dance between publicized and authentic values. When these values and leadership qualities tap into a bigger context of contribution in the organization, Effortless Peak Performance always occurs. Success, both individually and organizationally comes as results of what I call the EPP Triad: (1) how we make decisions, (2) how we respond to our environment and (3) how we operate in teams. When there is a synergy and connectivity among those three elements, we create a “with the wind” experience. There is a multiplying force that propels ordinary people to achieve extraordinary results. Willpower is still needed to achieve goals and objectives in the corporate environment, but it is not the glue that holds everything together.
