If you want to become a lawyer you'll need to pay strict attention to detail, have strong organizational skills, and have above average abilities in both written and oral communications. Those who are interested in pursuing this profession must be willing to first focus on educational goals. Countries have different requirements to becoming an attorney, and in the US, even different states have different requirements. If you want to become a lawyer, to be sure you are satisfying all the requirements that will apply to you, you should check your State Bar Association or legal body in your country. The easiest way is just to goto a University and enroll and then speak with a advisor and they should be able to tell you where to start. You will have to goto law school after graduating from college though and then pass your bar exam. Becoming a lawyer isn't a quick process though so be prepared to put some years into it. Good Luck! By the way your advisor will tell you what you should major in, while in regular college.  more

becoming a lawyer is difficult and long task, but one with its rewards. the type of lawyer you dealt with was a criminal lawyer. to be a lawyer, you have to graduate from an ABA accredited law school. Law school is a 3 year long post baccalaureate college. You can go to your local community college, study whatever you want. Then transfer to a 4 year school, get the best grades possible, and study something you are interested in, but try to take some philosophy courses. In the summer after your 3rd year, you take the LSAT, or law school admissions test. The better your grade on this the better law school you can get into. Finish your 4 year with a good gpa, and then go on to a law school. It will be very hard and demanding, so study hard and try to get the best grades. After u graduate from law school, you take the Bar exam, which after you pass, you are now a lawyer. You just need a job, and your a real working lawyer.  more
