How can I enter an SL command to SATELLINE-3AS NMS family modem?
23.11.2007 10:00 First of all, you should enable the SL command mode from radio modem programming menu. Access to programming menu with a pc computer or enable this feature directly from the radio modem display (if available on your modem). A. Configuration of the modem for SL commands with a PC 1 – Connect the radio modem to the PC com port and to the power supply 2 – Run “Satelline_SaTerm_ Lite _4_0_6.exe” 3 – Open the terminal window from “Mode → Open terminal” 4 – Give settings 9600 bps, 8 data, None parity, 1 stop, ASCII view, Local echo on. Click OK and the terminal window will be opened. 5 – Set the modem to programming mode (pin 12 to ground). The main menu will appear. 6 – Set the SL commands ON by selecting number “6” (Additional setup), and then number “1” (SL commands) and number “2” (ON) at the submenus accordingly. 7 – Return to the main menu by using “Esc” key twice.
