How can I fix a Baxi Combi 105e boiler?
When the hot tap is turned on, the boiler does not light until the tap is almost full on. It also seems to take a long time for the hot water to start coming through, but once it does arrive the water does get to an acceptable temperature. The problem seemed to coincide with an issue with the pre-heat function whereby the boiler would run continuously when in pre-heat mode, although it didn’t heat the water beyond the temperature set on the control knob. To avoid the problem I have turned the pre-heat contol knob to the off position.
