How can I fix my Cuisinart Food Processor (DLC-7 SuperPro)?

0

The metal blade of the processor became stuck to the motor shaft during operation while I was trying to mix bread dough. I had used less flour than the capacity of the metal blade permits, but as the dough came together, I smelled something a little smokey from the processor and turned off the machine. When I tried to remove the metal blade, it had stuck to the motor shaft. I called Cuisinart repair and was told to send it to them, but as I’m out of the country, I can not do that. The same thing had happened once before and I did bring it back home for repair. At that time, the repair people drilled out the metal blade and all that was required was for me to buy a new metal blade. Can anyone help? I would like to know how to drill out the blade myself, if advisable. I so appreciate any advise. Thanks.
