They can be of no value whatsoever, or be worth a goldmine. You say that you know these are valuable postcards, but you don’t say how you know that. Do you just “think” they are? Or do you “hope” they are? You really don’t know until you have an appraisal of some sort done on them, by someone who is qualified to say so. I would start at your local historical society. If you don’t have one locally, try your State society or National Historical Society. They may not know, but will be in a better position to tell you where you might go for an accurate answer. They may even have someone on staff who can assist you. Second option is to contact someone at a college or university’s art/history department and try to obtain the same information.
