In order to get backstage, you have to have a backstage pass. These are nearly impossible to get, and simply asking for them will not work. Don’t even think about trying to sneak backstage because Tori’s security will catch you. People who get backstage passes usually get them one of three main ways. 1) They win an online auction where the passes are being offered. RAINN used to auction off backstage passes, but no longer does so. (See question #9). 2) They win radio contests or some other kind of contest. 3) They receive the pass from Tori, or someone associated with Tori. Tori does not allow people to watch her soundcheck. Sometimes there will be radio contests and such where winners are allowed to sit in on a song or two, but that is it, and such opportunities are rare. This is a private time for Tori where she can rehearse, make sure the sound is just right, and work on new material that she is always adding to her shows.
