How can I get ink off glossy printed paper?

Generally like you said, ink is going to be far more fragile on the printed page than trying to get pen ink off of paper, which is pretty much impossible without rubbing alcohol and a lot of effort. I’m afraid Ron is wrecked. Applying alcohol or shaving cream (Another strange use of an interesting product to get stains out) is your best bet, but applying those to papers (as opposed to say, fabrics or other materials ink can stain) is going to screw up your paper. You could try hair spray as a last ditch resort but like I said, anything that will damage paper will damage your ink too. If you’ve had it done with a gel pen, you unfortunately have no options. Gel pen ink can’t be removed, even the small variety of resources I mentioned are only useful if the student used a ball point pen.
