How can I get involved and help support MU in the political arena?
Joining the Legislative Information Network Committee (LINC) is a great way for alumni to help the University. Members of this group keep abreast of MU activities and are willing to write, call, or visit legislators and discuss higher education legislation and other issues. Students can join the Associated Students of the University of Missouri (ASUM). Each year, ASUM selects six interns to lobby for student issues and concerns at the state capitol in Jefferson City, Missouri. ASUM is also involved in voter education and registration, and ASUM brings legislators to campus to speak with students about issues concerning them.
