Some oils have proven successful in reducing the appearance of stretch marks but they are not known for widely getting rid of stretch marks. For younger stretch marks (purplish in color) one method that has had more success than oils is Microdermabrasion treatments. Microdermabrasion cannot do much for older stretch marks (white or grayish in color). Microdermabrasion treatments generally cost $75-$200 per treatment. For older stretch marks laser skin resurfacing is an effective method of getting rid of stretch marks. However it is more expensive than Microdermabrasion, laser resurfacing generally costs $800-$2000 per treatment. Neither is generally covered by insurance because of the cosmetic nature of the treatment. Hopefully you have newer looking stretch marks!!
