If you want to use custom sounds extracted from cd or recorded by mic in Reason. Just make sure the file is either a wav or an aiff file. You can load the sample into the following devices: NN-19 – Redrum – NN-XT If you load the sample into the NN-19 you should press the beige folder button wich let’s you load in single samples. The sample will have c3 as the rootkey automatically. To load a single sample into the NN-XT you should fold out the edit section and press the folder button wich is present there. This also sets the sample to have c3 as the rootkey automatically. For loading in samples into the Redrum you can press the folder button at the top of the channelstrip.
