How can I have CUSP load mini os automatically?

0

It can be annoying having to load the mini os every time. You can set up an alias to the cusp command. This will automtically replace cusp with its alias, which will be cusp followed by the path to mini os. You can not just run the alias command because it will get removed when you log out. So we have to edit the file that gets executed when you login. First, put the mini os obj file somewhere. Open konsole and go to your home folder and type vim .cshrc followed by the enter key. Add the following line to the end of the file: alias cusp cusp . For example, alias cusp cusp /home/sandhua/ecs50/mini_os.obj Save the file, log out and log back in again. Now when you run cusp, the mini os will be loaded automatically. Lamer Note: You will have to edit the file if you rename/move the mini os obj file.
