There are several ways to list your home for sale by owner. First, you can place a For Sale by Owner sign in your yard, take photos and make a brochure listing all the interior and exterior features of the home and place outside beside your sign. Or, you can post an ad on Craig’s List showing all features of your home plus 4 photos. Or, you can contact a Realtor in your hometown that will enter it into the local MLS for a specified fee, i.e., $500 – $1000 and all negotiations will be handled through you and the buyer. If your home has not sold within a certain # of days, you can always list it with the realtor and pay his/her commission for a full service listing.
