How can I make pinch pleat curtains?

Basically make the curtains up then you need Rufflette or similar to make the heading. These are tapes with two or more drawstrings threaded through. The tape for pinch pleats will be about 4 inches wide and I would guess about 4 drawstrings. (ask the sales assistant if you are not sure if you have the right tape). Note for pinch pleats you need more material width than for standard headings so check you have the right amount of material before you start. Sew the tape just below the top of the curtain on the wrong side sewing the top and bottom edge of the tape. Fasten the drawstrings at one and pull the strings at the other end keeping the pull even until the pleats form and the curtain width is a little bit over half your window width. You can push the pleats around a bit to get them nice and even then tie of the drawstrings.
