I also used many AdBlockers programs for chrome for 3 years and I came to the conclusion that it is really worth using. Before finding this solution, I had extremely many nerves due to unwanted ads that always appeared at the most inappropriate moments when they were super busy with my work.
But I found a site that informed me a lot and helped me in this regard.
I am convinced that the best solution is to install AdBlock and I recommend it to you.

Adblock Plus 0.5 used to allow dragging the icon in the status bar. For the following versions it was decided that this feature is rarely useful and shouldn’t be built in. An extension like Organize Status Bar can do a much better job here.
