How can I organize my room?

two words.... Condense and Conceal. There are a few steps to creating a usable, organzied living space. #1) Make room Making room to organize means going through everything you own and getting rid of the things you dont need or dont use any longer. Rule of thumb; if yuo havent worn it, used it, or played with it in 6 months Get rid of it. #2)Put it away. Somethings are ment to be seen. Your collection of family photos, Your vintage travel posters, or even your rock collection. Somethings were meant to be unseen. Your clothes, Your electronic devices, and your retainer. These things all need a home. Rule of thumb; Hide the hideous, highlight the beautiful. #3)Think on it. A well organized person is aware of their routine. If everyday you walk thru the door of your room and through down your backpack than you should know that you need to hang a wall hook by the door to keep your backpack off the floor. #4)Mix it up. You dont have to store everything you own in clear plastic containers. ...  more
