How can I perform a silent Network Installation of JAWS or MAGic?
You can perform a silent installation of JAWS 5.10 or MAGic 9.0 or later. Silent installations allow system administrators to create deployment images that install all the components they need with a single mouse click or keystroke. Silent installations eliminate the need for users of the software to go through the complete installation process on their own and allows administrators to quickly install software on a large number of computers. To perform a silent installation, you must first record a Setup.iss file. This file will be used during the silent installation to determine which options to use. Do the following to create the Setup.iss file: 1. Insert your JAWS or MAGic program CD into a computer where the program is not installed. You can also choose to use a package for the Web that you downloaded. TIP: If you want the silent installation to install all video hooks into the display chain, be sure these hooks are not already installed on the computer. Likewise, if you do not wan
