Visit the office at 315 28th Avenue to submit the information or mail it to Peggy Skelton, The Tuscaloosa News, P.O. Box 20587, Tuscaloosa, AL 35402-0587 or e-mail peggy.skelton@tuscaloosanews.com. Photographs cannot be e-mail. Birth announcements (no photos); birthday pictures for adults 100 and older; anniversaries for couples celebrating 50 or more years and five generations are all free. These announcements and pictures are published in the Today section of the Sunday edition. They should be brought to The Tuscaloosa News by Monday noon prior to the Sunday publication date. Birth announcements should be submitted within two months after the baby’s birth. The information should include the name of the baby, sex, date/place of birth, parents/hometown, grandparents/hometowns, surviving great-grandparents/hometowns, and siblings-sex/name/age.
