How can I play AAC files in Centrafuse?
By default Centrafuse cannot play iTunes files, and it cannot play protected (DRM) iTunes files at all. The iPod plug-in will read the iPod and play files if you use the MP3 format. It will also support the AAC format (M4A only) if you add a file named bass_aac.dll from this web site: http://www.un4seen.com/bass.html Download the AAC codec NOTICE: Please do not download the first file that you see. This is not the file that you need. If you do decide to download this first file, you won’t find the file that you need! Use the search function built into your browser (CTRL + F) and type in the following: “bass_aac” (no quotes) Once the search function finds that text on the page, just download the file. It’s a .zip. Just unzip it and you’ll see the bass_aac.dll file there. Drag or copy this file into the runtime folder of Centrafuse.
