How can I prevent my cat from slinging litter everywhere when he uses his box?

Either a litter box with a cover, or a framed pan, such as the link I have provided. Both will cut down on tracked litter, but not totally eliminate it. But either will significantly cut down on tossed litter from the pan. There is one litter box with a top entry that would probably totally eliminate tracking, but I am not sure how many cats would like it.
