How can i remove the smell and the yellow staining of smoke?
When my friend and I moved into a house that cigarette (and other things) were smoked in, everything had a yellow tinge to it. We opened all the windows and ammonia’d away. The ammonia killed the smell and got rid of the yellow. For your blinds, put 1-2 cups of ammonia in the tub and put the blinds in. Let sit for 30 minutes then pull them out and rinse. I will repeat, make sure ALL the windows are open in the house when using ammonia. If you feel light-headed or anything, go outside for a while. Some people are more sensitive to the smell than others.
