**THIS DOES NOT WORK IF YOU HAVE A HUMP EDGE** I have no idea how much deposit is being held, but if it is a bundle and the vegetable oil trick won’t fool anyone, there is another solution. Get a piece of laminate of the same type, but a tad larger than the worktop. Probably around 50 bucks or so. Buy a Porter Cable laminate router on your CC. Buy a HIGH quality bottom follow laminate trimmer bit (1/4″ shank) on your CC. Buy a quart of contact cement and some disposable brushes and a roller. Scuff up the old laminate surface with sandpaper and dust off. Follow the instructions and glue the new piece of laminate DIRECTLY to the old piece. Press it down real good and hard with your hands, don’t bother with professional laminate rollers. Install the bottom follow bit into the router and go to town. It is self explanatory except for which direction to go with it. GO COUNTER-CLOCKWISE. You might wanna buy a slightly larger piece than you need so you can practice on something else first. But
