When Moodle removes a student from a course, the student’s files, grades, forum postings, etc. are actually retained but not shown. You can see them again, by adding that student back to your course. Click on Students under Administration, and change the first drop-down menu box to read students picked from a list, then click Send. You will then be able to search for the desired CLID, and if found, highlight that user by clicking on their name in the search results box, then click on the left-arrow button to add them to your course again. Since this is flagged as a “manual” enrolment, the student will not be affected by subsequent auto-enrol actions.
