First of all, you have damaged your hair. If you can, go to a hairdresser and see about getting the damaged ends cut off. Regardless, get a GOOD conditioner and get your hair well-conditioned to help heal/disguise damage. Then, when you wash and condition your hair next, use, first, a medium setting on your blow dryer to dry it mostly. When damp, wind it around large velcro rollers — the larger the better — whatever your length hair will handle. I just purchased a bonnet hairdryer and after my hair is damp dry and wound it only takes about 45 minutes (I use for computer time in the mornings…) to finish drying my hair. Then I have nice, smooth, just wavy hair for the day. For a more severe straightening, get a roller brush which has a metal core with holes and bristles sticking out. The larger the core the better.
