How can i take the mildew off from my wall?
Bic is right about using a mild detergent instead of bleach. However, you must also eliminate the source of the moisture that’s allowing the mildew to run rampant. First try reducing the amount of water vapor you create indoors. Run your bathroom fan or leave a window cracked open when you shower or bathe; likewise, keep a kitchen window open or run the range hood fan when you’re boiling water. Don’t drip-dry clothing indoors; either hang it outside or use a proper electric or gas dryer with a proper vent leading directly outside. Unplug the humidifier and make sure you have some air circulation – use a fan if you need to. If this doesn’t work, you may have damp inside your walls, and controlling that is a bit more work. You have to find where the damp is getting in and seal it off, then you have to repaint the wall with a good mildew-blocking primer – regular paint is porous and won’t seal off any problems in the walls.
