You can download one of the tools shown here to test if the iSeries can connect to your client PC. Be sure to download the file that’s appropriate for your OS/400 version and release. On your iSeries, create a library named TURBOGORLA and within that library, create an OS/400 Save File named TESTCONN. On your PC, establish an FTP connection and FTP the save file you unpacked from the downloaded zip file from this website and using a binary transfer, send the save file to your iSeries.
